Vehicle Deposits and Refunds

How deposits work, when refunds apply, and what to expect after vehicle removal or account cancellation.

$100 Per Vehicle Deposit Requirement

A $100 deposit is required for each vehicle added to the TeqMobility platform. This deposit supports vehicle onboarding and ongoing account administration.

Why the Deposit Is Required

The deposit helps cover administrative and processing costs, including:

  • Vehicle onboarding and review
  • Account and billing processing
  • Ongoing platform administration

What Happens to my Deposit when I Remove a Vehicle?

If a vehicle is removed while your account remains active, the deposit stays on file. This helps prevent delays or additional charges if vehicles are added back in the future.

When Is My Deposit Eligible to be Refunded?

Deposits are eligible for refund after your account is fully cancelled and all outstanding balances are resolved. After cancellation, a 30-day review period begins to allow time for:

  • Final charges to process
  • Outstanding balances to be identified
  • Disputes or failed payments to be resolved

After this review, any eligible refund is processed.

Can My Deposit Be Refunded Earlier

Early refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. Reviews consider account history, payment activity, and any prior disputes. Requests can be submitted to support@teqmobility.com

Can I get part of my Deposit back if I Downsize my Fleet?

In some cases, yes. If you are permanently reducing your fleet, our team can review your request for a partial deposit refund. Approval depends on account history, payment activity, and whether there are any outstanding balances or disputes.

Why is there a 30-day Waiting Period after Cancellation?

The 30-day period allows final billing activity to complete and ensures there are no outstanding balances or disputes before a refund is issued. This helps prevent errors or delays.

    Outstanding Balance Rules

If an account has unpaid balances, deposits may be applied toward those amounts before any refund is issued.
